I spent one day in one of the massive building blocks of Prora and take photographs. Currently, there are plans to develop this ruin of the Nazi era into a holiday resort. I want to capture the current state, which seems like a contemporary document of the last 70 years. The original building structures are superimposed by decades of use during the GDR period. The result is a series of photographs that appear like framed views. Blocked vistas, visual axes, rectangular color patches. Constricted, oppressive.
