2024. Design Competition for Astruptunet, a new exhibition and meeting space combined with an outside area, located next to the artist studio and home of painter Nikolai Astrup. In collaboration with
Pavlina Lucas, Oslo.
The planting plan is based on native plants and historical garden plants that are not on the alien species list today. It combines planting of perennials, shrubs and trees and
areas that are left to plants that germinate from seeds from the surrounding area, or the seed bank in the soil
to increase biodiversity. The outdoor area is a garden not only to look at, but to use
and harvest, and can become an important part of dissemination projects.
