spring and autumn 2020, 2021
working on and with paper
Not being able to go and travel as planned, I travel inside my head and find myself near the mountains and next to the sea. I re-shape images that I've gathered during journeys over the last years, such as historic postcards of the Rhone glacier in Switzerland, bridges in New York, and ice in the north. I work back and forth in layers at and on the wall. The different papers are canted, clamped, hung and glued together, and appear as paths that keep dividing and meeting.
